Direct Dyes

Water soluble Direct Dyes are the sodium salt derived from sulphonic acid under alkaline condition. The processing of these dyes is conducted under low temperature level. Featured with anionic quality, these types of dyes are perfect for protein and cellulose fibers. These specially formulated dyes are widely used for coloring of linen, rayon, silk and cotton fabrics. Though these dyes do not have any permanent chemical bonding with cellulose based fiber, yet these are attached to cellulose fiber through vander walls force and delicate hydrogen bonding. Reckoned as azo dyes, these Direct Dyes have long storage life and are preferred for their compositional accuracy.
